CONTEXT: Our client, a well-established electrical contractor, is seeking licensed Journeyman Electricians to join their team. They will also consider Apprentice Electricians who are actively working toward obtaining their Journeyman License. This is an excellent opportunity for electricians at various stages of their careers to contribute to both commercial and residential electrical projects. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with a strong understanding of electrical systems, code requirements, and safety protocols.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for both commercial and residential properties.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and wiring diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Ensure electrical systems comply with local building codes and safety standards.
- Perform electrical troubleshooting and repair tasks for systems, including circuits, panels, outlets, switches, and lighting systems.
- Wire and install electrical panels, circuit breakers, and other equipment.
- Complete projects on time, within budget, and according to project specifications.
- Work in compliance with OSHA safety standards and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
- Supervise and mentor apprentice electricians, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, other trades, and clients to ensure efficient and accurate project completion.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on projects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license in the state of Texas.
- Actively pursuing Journeyman Electrician license with a demonstrated interest in advancing in the trade.
- Proven experience in electrical system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for commercial and residential buildings.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience with electrical wiring, circuits, switches, outlets, and electrical panels.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with clients, team members, and supervisors professionally.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to arrive at job sites on time.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 pounds) and work in physically demanding environments.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
