JOB TITLE: Administrative Assistant (Bilingual - Korean/English)
LOCATION: Boston MA (Onsite: 3 days per week)
JOB SUMMARY:
A detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant with proficiency in both Korean and English is needed. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations within the office. This role requires being onsite at least three days per week, working closely with a diverse team to facilitate communication and administrative efficiency.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
1. Administrative Support:
o Manage calendars, appointments, and meetings for executives and team members.
o Coordinate travel arrangements, including booking flights, hotels, and transportation.
o Prepare and process expense reports.
2. Document Management:
o Draft, translate, and proofread documents, emails, and presentations in Korean and English.
o Maintain organized filing systems for records, reports, and correspondence.
3. Communication & Coordination:
o Serve as a liaison between Korean-speaking teams and English-speaking colleagues or clients.
o Support internal and external communications, ensuring accurate translations when necessary.
o Assist in coordinating meetings, including arranging venues, setting up video conferences, and preparing materials.
4. Office Management:
o Order and manage office supplies and equipment.
o Ensure the office environment remains professional and conducive to productivity.
o Handle inquiries and direct them to the appropriate departments.
5. Special Projects:
o Assist in planning company events or team-building activities.
o Provide support for ad hoc projects as required by management.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE (BASIC QUALIFICATIONS):
• Language Skills: Proficiency in Korean and English (written and verbal) is essential.
• Experience: 2+ years in an administrative or executive assistant role, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with virtual meeting tools (e.g., Zoom, MS Teams).
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
• Flexibility: Availability to work onsite at least three days per week.
• Experience in a global company or familiarity with Korean corporate culture.
• Knowledge of SAP or other enterprise software systems.
