Front End Engineer (React)

We are looking for a Front End Engineer, with solid experience working with React, based in Latin America to work on a long-term project for one of our clients, an online video startup based in Los Angeles, California.

Our client is the leading free streaming television service in the US. They are defining the future of television, delivering over 100 live, linear channels, in a lean-back experience and thousands of hit movies and television on demand.

Its apps are available across all top mobile (iOS, Android), web, and connected TV devices (Roku, Apple TV, Playstation, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Vizio, Samsung, and more).


  • Work jointly with Product, QA, and Back end teams to deliver a best-in-class user experience to entertain millions of users
  • Design/implement features that anticipate failure and corner cases
  • Maintain detailed documentation on features, flows, and processes
  • Effectively communicate and document progress via Jira, Slack, and Confluence
  • Take ownership and responsibility for your work


  • Advanced Level of English
  • Minimum 5+ years of software development experience
  • Minimum 3+ years of ReactJS Web Application development experience
  • Experience developing and supporting enterprise-grade applications
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot/debug issues
  • Experience integrating REST APIs, ability to quickly pick up new APIs/SDKs
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced agile environment
  • Experience documenting engineering processes and best practices

Bonus Points

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related fields
  • OTT Connected TV / Smart TV / Embedded Devices app development experience
  • 2+ years full-stack development experience
  • 1+ years Typescript development experience
  • React + Redux development experience
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
