**5 – 7 years engineering experience

Overview:

This position is for a process engineer to support our municipal wastewater equipment sales group, targeting international markets, covering physical (clarification and filtration) and biological (fixed film and activated sludge) treatment technologies. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with customer-centric personality, strong communication skills, and MS Office proficiency. Approximately 20 to 30% travel is expected to provide technical support to sales at customer meetings.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work directly with the sales team including third party representatives to provide application support for all wastewater segment products based on customer needs, develop solutions, design specifications and budgetary constraints in select international markets.
• Develop budgetary proposals including design basis, specifications, drawings and pricing.
• Review bid documents and provide feedback to align our equipment offering with plan and specification requirements.
• Develop Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) for process systems
• Prepare proposals, including technical and commercial clarifications to bid documents, in order to fulfill the requirements of customer specifications
• Work with the design team to ensure projects are executed on time and on budget.
  
  

Education:

• BS or MS in Engineering: Mechanical, Civil, Environmental or Chemical
  
  

Required Skills:

• 5 – 7 years engineering experience in same or similar field
• Time management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Must have the ability to work well with others with minimal supervision
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to travel internationally

Preferred Skills:

• International market exposure
• Prior experience in wastewater treatment applications
• Experience with hydraulics and head loss calculations/ Experience with P & ID
• Sales experience
• CAD design experience
• BioWin and/or GPS-X process modeling experience
