Security Sales Consultant

Our client is in immediate need for a motivated and energetic Security Sales Consultant/Account Manager (SSC/AM). The primary responsibility for this role will be to maintain and grow business within our current accounts. The SSC/AM will make recommendations on additional security solutions current clients are not taking advantage of in addition to generating leads, setting appointments and presenting to C-level decision makers - at which time you will consult with on physical security/asset management needs and recommend strategic solutions, such as: Intrusion Detection, Access Control, CCTV solutions, Fire systems, and GPS Fleet Management solutions.


Ideal Candidate:

  • Desire to learn, develop and succeed in sales
  • Strong phone skills, relationship building, and consultation skills
  • Ability to conduct technical demonstrations-presentations in a multitude of selling environments
  • Established track-record of exceeding sales targets by managing and existing account base
  • Motivated, self-starter, with excellent drive, ambition and work ethic
  • Strong oral and written communication, customer service and time management skills
  • Career oriented with previous B2B sales experience in an Account Management or Business.
  • Prior success in new business development a plus
  • Prior success in identifying “event based” leads a plus
  • Proficient in computers and software applications that include: MS Word, MS Excel, MS, Outlook, and MS PowerPoint
  • Reliable transportation and clean background


Non-Negotiable Requirements:

  • Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in outside sales and account management
  • Candidate must have commercial B2B sales experience
  • Candidate must be technology sales experience
  • Candidate must have a Hunter and Self Starter mentality
