Regional Sales Manager

**REMOTE position - Candidate needs to be centrally located near Dallas, Houston, Denver, or Chicago **

** Candidate must have experience selling a product in the trades.

Generate new revenue for company by researching, identifying, qualifying, onboarding and supporting existing and new channel re-sell partners. Provide ongoing new rep onboarding, training, and co-selling support for manufacture’s representatives and distribution channels. Assist in Identification and validation of opportunities in new markets and product groups. Support channel partner onboarding and hand-offs to Account Representative Team. Support New Business Development in growing and maintaining relationships with key clients, OEM accounts, and rep firms.

Ideal Candidate Requirements

  • Candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of successful selling experience.
  • Candidate will have previous success being a Sales Leader.
  • Candidate will have been successful in prospecting/hunting for new business in a previous role.
  • Candidate will have produced a book of business from the ground up.
  • Candidate will have a background of selling a product in the trades
  • Candidate will have a demonstrated ability to manage multiple, diverse sales opportunities simultaneously.
  • Candidate will have demonstrated judgement to set priorities and follow through independently.
  • Candidate will have demonstrated ability at successfully navigate and close deals on the corporate, C-Suite level.
  • Candidate will have a proven successful selling record in direct national construction, commercial property, and/or plumbing wholesale distribution channels
  • Candidate should have insurance Industry or risk management experience
  • Candidate should have knowledge of the plumbing industry or plumbing trade standards and best practices.
  • Candidate should have experience with building management software (BMS) principles and technologies.
  • Candidate should demonstrate the ability to read a blueprint.
  • Candidate will be goal oriented, a creative thinker, and will enjoy applying knowledge in new ways to solve problems.
  • Candidate must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple, diverse sales opportunities simultaneously.
  • Candidate must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Candidate must have knowledge of either the Plumbing Wholesale Industry (selling commercial or national) or Commercial Building Sales experience (electronic systems)
  • Candidate must have experience selling a product in the trades.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base $75-125K DOE
  • Anticipated OTE with commission 1st year $110-125K; 2nd year > $150-175K
  • Full Benefits, 401K Match 3% (even without employee contribution)
  • Profit Sharing up to 3%
