Job Description – Regional Sales Manager

The Regional Sales Manager is a mid-level sales position who serves as the primary relationship owner for existing customer accounts and all potential customer accounts within an assigned territory. This position is responsible for the retention and growth of all business within their territory. The Regional Sales Manager will ensure that clients derive maximum value from our products and services; work closely with clients and end users to identify needs and consult on best practices for solutions and setup.

 

Expectations/Responsibilities:

  • Increase sales volume within existing clients through account penetration and secure new business
  • Assure quality project management across multiple partners that may be involved on projects
  • Ensure client satisfaction and client retention through consistent, productive account calls
  • Be responsible for up selling programs, services, and value-added products into current client base
  • Represent the company by consistently demonstrating the understanding and modeling of company’s mission and values
  • Stay abreast of and learn about all new technical applications, products, programs, and services available to clients in the territory and for applying or utilizing them whenever appropriate or timely
  • Align the overall corporate solution to the client’s business needs, challenges, and technical requirements
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills: writing, editing and presenting
  • Build and maintain a consistently strong pipeline
  • 50%+ travel required

Requirements

  • 3+ years of successful sales experience with a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding assigned annual/quarterly goals and targets
  • Effective project management skills to help manage multiple partners on projects
  • Strong hunter and relationship builder
  • Tech savvy and able to successfully use CRM and other computer programs
