Job Description:

Our client is seeking a dynamic Key Account Manager - Business Development– Americas to drive growth as we expand beyond our client’s core product line of tactile rubber keypads for automotive switch OEMs. This role will play a key part in building relationships and securing new business across diverse verticals, including motorcycles, interior automotive integrators, OEM design studios, new EV manufacturers, and commercial transportation.

The ideal candidate will bring proven prospecting experience in a manufacturing environment and a strong ability to open doors with new customers and markets. With our client’s recent expansion into the Philippines through their new factory, our client now offers U.S. customers solutions to address tariff challenges while creating opportunities for new products and processes that will fuel customer and company growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Tasked with supporting, servicing and driving business growth with designated new account OEM targets and some existing accounts.

  • Hunter mentality, responsible for prospecting and development of targeted new accounts for silicone keypads, rubber molded parts, LIM LSR rubber, co-molded parts and HMI assemblies

  • Schedule and conduct sales meetings, needs assessment, presentations and lead follow-up with key influencers at assigned accounts

  • Develop relationships with key influencers in the engineering, purchasing and quality areas of assigned accounts

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base = $100k-110k

  • Variable Commission = 20-30% of base salary

  • Projected Year 1 On-Target-Earnings = $120k-145k

  • 401 (k) with a 100% match on the first 6% of salary, with a one-year vesting.

  • Long-term disability, short-term disability, and some AFLAC policies are provided.

  • No health insurance is offered, but a $1,200 monthly stipend is provided to compensate for this.

  • Car allowance of $650 per month is provided, plus reimbursement for gas and basic car maintenance (e.g., car wash).
