Job Description – Sales Development Manager
The Sales Development Manager will play a vital role building, optimizing, coaching and leading the SaaS Sales Development Representative (SDR) team. This position will report to the Nationals Sales Manager and will be responsible for growing the existing team of Sales Development Representatives, creating an appropriate culture of growth and winning to deliver on team targets while providing ongoing coaching and development support to accelerate the team. This role will need to excel as a thought leader and connector in the business, able to effectively strategize, collaborate and deliver results in partnership with the other Revenue team leaders – Sales, Marketing, Business Development and Revenue Operations.
A strong process-orientation is a must! We will rely on this role to develop and grow the Sales Development Team through coaching, process planning, and defining time management while helping implement cold-call and email strategies for optimal outreach to new prospects in support of our accelerated growth. The ideal candidate should be a team-oriented, motivating leader and an effective communicator, comfortable holding team members accountable to organizational goals and sales targets.
Non – Negotiable Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree (significant experience with promotion within an organization will be considered in lieu of degree but not preferred)
· 4+ years’ quota-bearing sales experience
· 1+ years’ leadership experience, managing teams (trainer, team lead, etc will qualify)
· Proficient in SalesForce
· SaaS or technology experience
· High attention to detail
· Efficiency and organizational skills
