Vice President of Sales - Enterprise SaaS

The VP of Sales directs, supports, and administers the selling of technology solutions. The role includes the planning, implementation, and control of sales programs, as well as recruiting, training, motivating, monitoring, and evaluating sales team members. The fundamental role of the VP of Sales is to develop and administer a selling program that will consistently deliver the growth objectives of the company as well as client retention goals.


The primary role of the VP of Sales is to be responsible for creating and implementing new business development strategies, leading the performance of all sales activities in assigned markets, and identifying and penetrating new markets. As the sales leader, the VP of Sales works with marketing to generate sales leads and brand awareness, staffs, and directs the sales team and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company goals, vision, and values. The VP of Sales establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base and contributes to the development of training and educational programs for clients, and sales team members.




  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years of experience in SaaS Executive level sales leadership
  • True sales leader with a track record of sales and leadership success
  • Experience with an early stage software company, ideally SaaS, and has taken it to the next level
  • Proven track record of increasing overall company revenue to $10M+ in a previous role
  • Proficient in Salesforce
  • Hands-on management, working closely with the team
  • Possesses a strong sales methodology that is teachable (can lead and coach)
  • Consultative (asks great questions and also has strong listening skills to uncover solutions)
  • Experience with complex enterprise sales
  • Understanding of sales models, how to make them work, and how to work with sales professionals
  • Determined and driven to make numbers and achieve goals and able to balance everything else at the same time
  • Professionally competitive
