The Sales Coordinator will be an instrumental leader and participant in growing the company’s annual revenue to $10 million and beyond.
Our CLIENT has become one of the DFW Metroplex’s top providers of seamless aluminum gutters and downspouts as well as commercial box gutters and conductor boxes. The company primarily serves the multi-family housing market, including apartments, condominiums and townhomes, but is also growing its business rapidly with developers of senior living facilities, student housing, hotels and motels, and large custom homes. The company operates primarily in the DFW area but also serves such markets as Houston, Austin, San Antonio and other Texas locations.
The position
The Sales Coordinator will be responsible for working closely with the company’s sales executives and with the company’s estimating and scheduling personnel. He/she will field incoming requests to bid from existing and potential new clients and get them on the estimator’s bid calendar. He/she will then manage the bid process going forward to ensure that questions from clients or from COMPANY sales personnel are answered in a timely manner and that bids are submitted on time and with complete information. This will enable the sales team to spend more time working directly with clients, building client relationships and successfully winning bids. Additionally, the Sales Coordinator will learn and be primarily responsible for the company’s lead generation software, such that new opportunities and new potential clients are identified and is positioned to be on the bid list for those opportunities and clients. He/she will receive emails alerting the company to new construction projects that fit the company’s sales profile and go-to-market strategy, and will screen and qualify those leads, assign them to a member of the sales team and ensure follow up.
