Our Carrollton client is growing which has created an opening for a Junior Estimator.
The Junior Estimator will be responsible for administration within the estimating department. They will assist the Senior Estimator by preparing work to be estimated by gathering proposals, specifications, and blueprints and uploading these documents into Plan Swift. They will be trained to read and understand blueprints, perform quantity takeoffs, material lists, create scopes of work, and various other estimating duties. Our client believes in continuous improvement, and it is our goal for the Junior Estimator to learn as much as possible in order to achieve Senior Estimator status with us.
The ideal candidate will have working knowledge in various software platforms such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, AutoCAD, Plan Swift or other estimating software, among others.

Our client has become one of the DFW Metroplex’s top providers of seamless aluminum gutters and downspouts as well as commercial box gutters and conductor boxes. The company primarily serves the multi-family housing market, including apartments, condominiums, and townhomes, but is also growing its business rapidly with developers of senior living facilities, student housing, hotels and motels, and large custom homes. The company operates primarily in the DFW area but also serves such markets as Houston, Austin, San Antonio, and other Texas locations. The company recently opened a new 6,000 square foot headquarters in Carrollton with office and conference space, warehousing and storage space and a large fenced parking area for its fleet of service trucks.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation is a salary based on applicable experience. The Junior Estimator will also be eligible for a potential bonus based on company performance.
