Sales Coordinator

Expectations/Responsibilities

  • Grow and maintain assigned accounts by utilizing Sandler Sales Training
  • Maximize volume and revenue in key assigned accounts by executing a value and quality selling strategy
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with customers and drive customer satisfaction through superior service and execution
  • Manage key customer relationships including customer agreements that deliver against internal operating plans and customer expectations
  • Analyze customer information and business trends to identify and expand business opportunities
  • Conduct bi-monthly calls with broker teams (10+ per group)
  • Qualify prospects
  • Review order, production planning, sales pre-plan and forecast of what potentially will be sold and share information with production
  • Follow up on leads and other opportunities Brokers bring in
  • Set up new customers
  • Maintain and update sales lead information in CRM
  • Assists with social medial ideation
  • Manage Trade Shows as senior contact and ensure all sales/marketing opportunities are maximized to improve show attendance and results
  • Coordinates sample shipments for perishable goods
  • Generate sales and gross margin reports, such as (but not limited to) by customer and by product line
  • Manage B2B Customer Services inquiries
  • Other duties as requested by management  

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Some college preferred
  • Experience with CRM Microsoft Dynamics a plus
  • Proficient with MS Office, Outlook, and Excel
  • Looking for at least 3 years of experience in sales or as a Buyer
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organization; critical thinking, and attention to detail
  • Able to establish and maintain strong business partnerships.
  • Able to prioritize and manage a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work independently and with a team
  • Prior sales and/or specialty food industry knowledge is a plus
  • Sales management prospecting and forecasting experience
  • Data interpretation and analysis
  • Event planning/trade show coordination
  • Logistics and warehouse coordination a plus
  • Calendar management, time management critical
