Head of Retail Sales

The Head of Retail Industry will lead a team that will contribute to the development, implementation, monitoring and review of a business strategy that maximizes the Retail vertical net profit by driving sales and controlling costs while also driving the COMPANY’s goal to transform into a globally recognized digital organization. This role will report to the Head of Americas Sales to substantially grow business in the Retail sector.
Key Accountabilities:
- Implement business strategies as directed and enabled by the COMPANY, regionalized for the Americas to ensure long term market viability and growth
- Funnel customer and prospect feedback to developers to drive the right level of change as the product evolves.
- Collaboratively partner with other leaders to help optimize the COMPANY brand in the retail space
- Support the introduction of new products and applications
- Ensure that customer and internal projects are completed on time and within budget
- Continuously enhance propositions, offerings and services
- Advocate for software and digital platforms solutions that will keep COMPANY Japan in the forefront of Retail technology.
- Secure market insight and competitive insight across the Americas market to guide the Leadership Team, influence regional sales and business performance and inform Americas strategic planning.
- Leads independent project initiatives that drive financial improvement to business metrics.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry analysts

Ideal Experience

- Retail Sector Domain Expertise
- 10+ years of successful Retail sector experience
- Large, Matrix Organization
- Experience in partnering with sales organizations and other corporate functions external to the direct reporting organization. Has successfully thrived in a matrix environment requiring exceptional teamwork, collectively and collaboratively.
- Education
- College degree required and graduate degree, M.B.A. or M.S., preferred. Educated to degree level or equivalent.
