Sales Admin

Our CLIENT has a brand-new position available due to growth.

The Sales Admin is a key contributor to the sales and customer service team. This person coordinates between all departments within the company, coordinating shipments, quotes, and any issues that may arise during the normal daily routine.The Sales Admin must have strong analytical abilities, strong math skills and is able to communicate both professionally and rapidly.Must be able to problem solve, have strong follow up skills, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Expectations/Responsibilities

  • Checks coverage for customers
  • Analyzes data from customers weekly and generates reports by customer for demand forecasting.
  • Responsible all planning communication from sales to production.
  • Responsible for maintaining pricing.
  • Enters new quotes.
  • Maintains updates on current quotes and that they are processing through Plex with each completed operation
  • Gets the quote to the correct person in the correct format
  • NAFTA documents updated and maintained annually, or as requested,
  • Other documents updated and maintained annually, or as requested.
  • Sends metal reconciliations monthly
  • Coordinates schedules of the sales team and schedules coverage when members ore out.

Education and/or Experience
College Degree

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write detailed correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Computer Skills

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong Excel data skills are required. MS Query or Plex knowledge is very beneficial.

Other Skills and Abilities

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to organize large amounts of data.
  • Ability to prioritize workload.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Experience with MRP systems/processes, driving material requirements.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Reconciliation experience beneficial.
  • Must be able to communicate proficiently in writing, through email and reports.

Compensation & Benefits

The compensation is a salary based on applicable experience. The Sales Admin is also eligible for a semiannual bonus up to 10% of salary based on company performance and overall sales obtainment.
