The Strategic Account Manager position is dedicated to growing Mannington’s Corporate segment of business. Increasing the pipeline of products sold and measured against sales of Corporate products/projects sold.

Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following:

  • Identifying, Researching, profiling corporate targets is the main requirement- this position should be bringing new business each year to our client.
  • The Corporate segment is defined as targets with Corporate Headquarters projects, Corporations with multi-locations, Corporations identified in one region that will need cross-regional teams to close and is not limited to the end-user segment only.
  • This job will be measured by the pipeline of business created and tracked for the Corporate segment in SFDC and paid on recorded orders shipped.
  • Managing relationships with GSM’s, DM’s 
  • Integral understanding of Starnet and the national flooring contractor network is a must.
  • Identifying bundling opportunities that allow our client an edge in gaining new business is a must.

Negotiable Requirements

  • Candidates must have a demonstrated track record of success working in a remote sales position
  • Candidates must have proven relationship building skills that contribute to sales success and must bring a book of contacts/relationships
  • Candidates must have a 4 year college degree
  • Candidates must have a minimum of approximately 12 years of sales experience
  • Candidates must demonstrate longevity and stability in their work history
  • Candidates must be able to travel/be on the road; about 75% in the field and 50% of that out of your home
  • Candidates must be able to pass drug screen and background
