My client is looking to add a Sales Representative who is focused on outside sales to help facilitate growth.This is a hunter sales role focused on developing new business calling on all levels within a company up to the CEO.This sales person, upon demonstrated success in the role as well as living out the most important values of trust and integrity will eventually help to grow the sales team and possibly develop into a sales leader.The Sales Representative will strive to seek the highest possible good in every situation and relentlessly contend until it is a present-day reality.

The position offers flexibility to work from home or at the office in Garland and time will be spent in the office getting to know the team as well as time with current customers learning why they buy from Cimcon.

The Sales Representative will be responsible for the following:

Expectations/Responsibilities

  • Sell, Service, and Maintain Current Sales Accounts:Responsible to acquire new accounts and grow business within existing accounts:
    • Develop a list of prospects – maintain a sales funnel
    • Meet sales goals
    • Use established templates to set up new customers in the ERP system
    • Monitor orders daily
    • Visit customers as needed to maintain accounts
    • Maintain customer files
    • Help monitor quality specifications and construction – especially on first-time orders
    • Develop ways to raise prices.Monitor prices.Find ways to sell added value
    • Assist in administrative functions – e.g. collections
    • Work with operations on getting customer feedback

       

  • Sell, Service, and Maintain Current Source Accounts:Responsible to acquire new accounts and grow business within existing accounts
    • Review numbers and mix weekly from each source account
    • Visit sources as needed to maintain accounts
    • Follow-up on payments – ensure that they are timely
    • Review monthly reports to monitor accounts

Ideal Candidate Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in the sale of metal machining
  • Senior sales experience
  • High Energy
  • Background in traditional metal plating, potter finishing, galvanizing and metal fabricator
  • Has knowledge of the terrain around other fabricating and machining operations
  • Track record of new business development and effective account management
  • Demonstrated ability to develop a robust sales pipeline
  • Motivated and highly organized
  • Demonstrated ability to manage sales, volume, margin and expense budgets
  • Solid presentation skills with excellent communication style
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite user skills
  • Experience with CRM a plus
  • Goal oriented
  • Follows through on the expectations they set, or resets if necessary
  • Self-managed
  • Thinks outside the box with an entrepreneurial mindset

    Non – Negotiable Requirements

  • Candidates must have a 4 year degree
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 4+ years of experience in the sale of metal finishing ––Because of the small number of metal finishing competitors, will also consider candidates with experience in adjacent industries such as metal fabrication, manufacturing and chemical suppliers. They must be able to demonstrate the ability to sell finishing.
  • Candidate must pass a background check without felonies and a drug screen
  • Candidate to bring a book of business or contacts
