Trade Management Executive

ProActivate - San Diego, CA

Our client has an exciting sales role in Southern California (LA/San Diego). This position is responsible for new business development selling full service customs brokerage services. The focus is prospecting new business and retaining client relationships with a primary focus on promoting U.S. Brokerage as a platform. This position requires a consultative customer approach to understand clients’ global supply chain needs selling company value add solutions including consulting, global trade management automation and freight forwarding.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A minimum of 3 years with International Freight Forwarding experience and at least 3 years of Customs Brokerage/ Transportation/Logistics experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both verbal and written.)
  • Strong organizational and negotiation skills with the ability to drive change and deliver targeted results
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point.)
  • Salesforce.com experience strongly desired.
  • Licensed Customs Broker certification is a plus
  • Training/experience with Challenger Sales Model is a plus
  • Bilingual in Spanish and/or Mandarin is a plus
