We are looking for high-energy, high-performing and outgoing individuals to join our growing sales development team. The successful candidate will have a proven track or ability in conducting deep discovery over the phone across various levels and functions within an organization. As an SDR, your primary role will be to help generate and facilitate sales for Feathr and will be involved in initiating contact with potential customers through phone calls, known as outbound prospecting/cold-calling and email. Your objective will to identify the potential needs of the customer, qualify their interest and viability, and generated a solid lead to hand over to the outside sales team.

Expectations/Responsibilities:

The Sales Development Representative is the first point of contact for prospects, and therefore requires a strong business acumen, and ability to develop opportunities over the phone. As the front line of the sales organization, your role will be challenging, and this role will give you the tools to position Feathr’s value in the marketplace and prepare you well for advancement within the Feathr organization.

  • Research, identify, and qualify prospects within Feathr’s target audience
  • Heavy outbound phone and email prospecting of target accounts is expected
  • Other outbound marketing across multiple touch points, online and offline
  • Maintain communication with prospects through educational email and phone touch points to continue their understanding of Feathr
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of conversations/notes in Salesforce
  • Weekly activity goal is to identify at least five (7) qualified opportunities that lead to customer appointments
  • Develop skills for a larger a career in SaaS selling, and sales executive skills in particular

    Requirements:

  • Candidate must have at least 1 year of relevant sales development experience
  • Candidate must work well with a fast-paced environment and be flexible/adaptable with change
  • Candidate must respond well to coaching/feedback
  • Candidate must have interpersonal skills
