Regional Sales Director

Our client is looking for a Regional Sales Manager who will be an integral part of their leadership team. The Manager will oversee the entire sales and marketing team and work closely with the merchandiser. The Manager will help develop sales structure by working with all levels of the company from the ground level up.

 

They will be expected to spend time each week in all 4 DFW store locations. Responsible for training, coaching, and mentoring other sales and marketing employees. The primary goal will be to raise the bar of Salesmanship and grow company revenue year over year.

 

 

Expectations/Responsibilities

  • Expected to Raise the Bar of Salesmanship in all 4 locations
  • Able to work up to 50 hours per week and open to working weekends if needed
  • Willing to work on the front lines
  • Meet Sales revenue and gross margin goals for all stores
    • Expected to grow sales 15% over last year
    • Expected to obtain revenue goal for all 4 locations
    • Continuously tweak and train on the Sales process
    • Use sales analytics to identify areas of opportunity and execute sales strategies
    • Work closely on marketing team and strategize on how to increase company revenue by annual goal YoY
    • Meet selling expense budgets
    • Strategize on how to improve efficiencies and control costs in selling expenses
  • Expected to focus on: Metrics, Process, and People
  • Expected to hire A Players. Sources, selects, and sells A-Players to join team.
  • Expected to coach and develop team members.
  • Expected to be decisive.
  • Expected to maintain respect and professionalism under any circumstance.
  • Expected to meet store presentation scores for best customer experience
    • Set, grade, and improve presentation goals for stores
    • Plan improvements to store presentation and execute within set budgets
  • Expected to meet customer service scores and maintain positive store reputation.
    • Train to prevent and resolve escalated sales and customer service issues effectively
  • Expected to plan, execute, assess, and oversee advertising policies and programs.
  • Expected to assist in creating appealing and creative advertising campaigns that bring the customer into the store and constantly conceptualize new and fresh advertising ideas across all forms of media.
  • Expected to confer with management to discuss advertising goals and allocation of advertising budget.
  • Expected to OWN the marketing seat and actively manage and maximize the 5% of revenue budget
  • Expected to plan, track, and engage/negotiate with advertising agencies while working with a small internal marketing team and individual store initiatives

 

Ideal Candidate Requirements

  • Candidate will have a 4-year College Degree.
  • Candidate will have Sales Leadership/Management background.
  • Candidate will be a strong Sales leader who is also Marketing aware.
  • Candidate will be a Core Value fit.
  • Candidate will be able to lead, train, and coach.
  • Candidate will be able to balance aggressiveness of a good sales leader with the laid-back approach of the current culture.
  • Candidate will have experience selling B2C.
  • Candidate will show success in sales career for the last 3-5 years.
  • Candidate will be technologically savvy.
    • Microsoft Office, Google, Inventory System (CounterPoint)
  • Candidate will be a strategic thinker/visionary. Will be able to see the big picture and determine opportunities and threats of current and future trends.
  • Candidate will be a problem solver with the ability to structure and process data and draw insightful conclusions from it.
  • Candidate excels in organizing and prioritizing and can keep focus on key priorities.
  • Candidate demonstrates attention to detail and has high standards.
  • Candidate shows Grit. Demonstrates persistence and willingness to get it done.
