Providence Staffing is proud to partner with a leading dental practice dedicated to providing high-quality dental care to patients in Pensacola, FL, and the surrounding areas. We are seeking a talented and experienced General Dentist to join our team of skilled professionals, committed to delivering personalized treatment in a comfortable and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:

- Patient Assessment: Review patients' medical records and history to assess their dental needs and concerns.

- Treatment Preparation: Prepare patients for treatment by explaining procedures and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.

- Examinations: Perform thorough dental examinations, including assessing the health of teeth, gums, and oral tissues, as well as reviewing X-rays and diagnostic tests.

- Diagnosis and Treatment Planning: Diagnose dental conditions such as tooth decay and gum disease, and develop comprehensive treatment plans.

- Restorative Procedures: Perform restorative procedures, including cavity fillings, dental prosthetics, and teeth-whitening treatments.

- Medication Management: Prescribe medication as needed to alleviate pain and manage infections.

- Patient Education: Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and dietary recommendations.

- Preventive Care: Schedule regular check-ups and preventive dental care appointments to monitor and maintain oral health.

 

Requirements:

- Educational Background: Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD), or a similar degree from an accredited dental school.

- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of dental anatomy, physiology, and pathology.

- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in operating dental equipment and instruments, including X-ray machines, dental drills, and surgical instruments.

- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity.

- Patient Care: Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients, with the ability to build trust and rapport.

- Licensure: Active dental license in the state of Florida, or eligibility to obtain licensure.

 

Compensation and Benefits:

- Competitive Salary: Range of $300,000 - $700,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
