The Area Director is responsible for the complete business operation of an Area/Market of restaurants. They partner with their Director of Operations to create the vision and related strategies for their area and lead District Managers and a maintenance team to achieve it. They lead their team to achieve operational success through strategic direction that drives to that vision and overall company goals. This position has full responsibility for the P&L and other key performance metrics while living up to and cultivating the company’s Core and Leadership values.
? In partnership with Director of Operations, creates a vision and related strategies for their area of restaurants pertaining to the development of the business, people and culture along with brand execution.
? Engages with the District Managers and Field Maintenance team on meeting key financial and other performance metrics.
? Works collaboratively with Field, Store and Service Center Team on recruitment and retention strategies in ensuring appropriate staffing.
? Maintains appropriate leadership bench strength through building and maintaining a strong succession planning strategy in identifying and developing desired talent within their leadership teams.
? Initiates sales planning within the Annual Operating Plan process and develops sales strategies to achieve the market sales plan.
? Analyzes and assesses sales, earnings and other key performance metrics to close gaps in performance and achieve company targets.
? Works with leadership teams to deliver a consistent brand experience in service, cleanliness, quality of product and overall brand standards of The Wendy’s operational expectations.
? Effectively partners with Operations, Finance, Human Resources, and Marketing, using business acumen and trained judgement to drive Collective Genius to accomplish goals.

Education:? Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience
