Development Director- Brookfield, WI The American Lung Association has an excellent opportunity for a Development Director to join our incredible team in the Upper Midwest. Working as a member of the Development team, you will join an outstanding group of professionals dedicated to our mission: to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease through research, education, and advocacy.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects related to the creation, management, and execution of annual fundraising campaigns with a focus on special events and managing a team. This includes securing sponsorship, participant recruitment, volunteer involvement, team building, marketing, budget, timelines, evaluation, and logistics.
The ideal candidate will be able to land sponsorships in the $2,500-$15,000 range and a gala experience with high-caliber attendees is highly desirable.
Reports to
Location Office-based positions. 13100 W. Lisbon Road, Suite 700, Brookfield, WI 53005. The position can use the hybrid telecommute policy with the expectation that Tuesdays and Wednesdays are in-office days at least for the first year. The office has 11 employees when fully staffed
Events
Fundraising revenue goal: Total market revenue goal for FY23 is $857k (gross) across both events. This is a shared goal among the Development team members.
Managing Team Size: One Development Manager and Development Coordinator
Development Director reports to Executive Director
