OEM Sales Engineer

Your Key Responsibilities

 

Identify markets and product opportunities for the promotion of all Schaeffler's INA, Barden, & FAG brands of bearings to Industrial OE customers, with the goal of expanding the end user base and increasing business in target industries

 

Using a consultative approach identify, qualify, develop, deliver, and expand sales within target customer base

 

Obtain market information where application engineered bearing solutions are required

 

Maintain and improve customer relations through cooperation with internal account representatives

 

Prepare accurate reports/presentations for senior leadership and sales meetings, monitor account activity, and manage projects and customer relationships

 

Develop and deliver customer, end user, and internal product training in the region

 

Your Qualifications

 

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related, with strong mechanical aptitude

 

2 years sales and business development experience with Industrial OE customers selling bearings or power transmission products

 

Previous experience with bearings preferred, but not required

 

Ability to influence others' decision making and resolve conflict through a manner that benefits all parties

 

Strong business acumen, results driven

 

CRM software and systems aptitude (SalesForce experience a plus)

 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 

Have an intrinsic drive for results, relationships building aptitude, ability to influence at leadership level, strong ethics, and high agility in a complex organization

 

Availability for overnight travel approximately 40% of the time
