FreightWeb Services is a Seattle (Tech HQ) and Phoenix-based (Ops Center) transportation technology startup that is disrupting the $250+ Billion North American trucking market by offering lower prices and better service to customers shipping Partial Truckload Shipments. Founded in 2019 we are a mission driven, and fast growing startup backend by world class investors including 8vc and Madrona.
The current trucking industry model charges customers to move trucks; FreightWeb charges customers to move freight so that customers pay significantly less and their freight is efficiently and reliably transported. This changes the game for partial truckload shipping as well as majorly reduces the carbon footprint for across the US transportation industry.
Our approach is designed for rapid scaling, and our secret sauce to scaling is technical innovation. We estimate growing operations from $1 to $600+ million, and over $1B in annual transportation operating cost improvements using a combination of technical and physical innovation that is a new way of doing business and does not exist anywhere in the market (yet!)
FreightWeb’s engineering team seeks a talented full stack developer to help us build amazing customer-centric engineering innovation and data driven transportation science to transform the global trucking and logistics industry. We estimate that approx 4% of global GDP is spent on trucking and 10% on logistics so your work will make a big impact on economic efficiency and on reducing CO2 emissions! If transforming an industry through technology excites you and you want to work with smart and mission driven people dont wait and come join FreightWeb and work with us to change the game!: email@example.com.
FreightWeb is putting together a rockstar team of engineers and data scientists in our Seattle HQ to make this disruption happen.
