Principal Security Software Development Engineer

Due to rapid growth, we are looking for a Security Development Engineer to work directly with our VP of Security Engineering. You will spearhead security research, engineering, and product development, utilizing your extensive cloud domain knowledge to build out the Devo security products and services for customers and partners in the global security community.
As a Security SDE at Devo, you will:
Create engineering security standards applicable to all technologies in the IT and product portfolio
Drive innovation using Devo for security research, automation, investigation visualization
Design rapid prototypes leveraging the core platform for security use cases
Build microservices capabilities for our services model and ship code in AWS/Azure using standard CI/CD (Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, Artifactory, and BinTray)
Conduct security research and present findings to customers and at security conferences

Have an extensive networking background, with knowledge of service protocols and understand entities (IPs, domains, people) entitlements along with activities users/assets
Bring deep technical knowledge in at least one of the following Security Operations/Incident Response, Research/Threat Detection, Malware analysis, DFIR, or Breach Response.
Have deep technical expertise in CND/CNO technologies, forensic tools, and active defense technologies that influence workflow
Understand high capacity data ingestion and search pipeline design functions from either commercial or open source products
Have worked daily with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure or GCP
Expertise in at least one of the following: C, C++ or JVM-based languages.
