**$175-$185K Total Comp (base + annual full bonus)
Position Overview
We are seeking a sharp, solutions-oriented Senior Associate to join the firm’s Investment Operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and operational experience across asset classes—particularly alternative credit and fixed income—with a deep understanding of trade lifecycle, data integrity, and investment accounting processes.
This role requires daily collaboration with global operations teams, portfolio managers, accounting, and risk functions. It’s best suited for candidates who are analytical, adaptable, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and oversee daily reconciliations of trades, positions, and cash
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of security master data and trade information
- Collaborate with portfolio management and operations teams to fulfill data needs
- Support the end-to-end investment process for LP commitments and subscription documents
- Respond to ad-hoc data and document requests (e.g., PPMs, private ratings, letters)
- Drive operational improvements and scalability across investment workflows
- Lead onboarding processes for new clients, accounts, and asset types
- Act as key liaison between investment teams and third-party administrators
Education & Credentials:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
- MBA, CFA, or CPA a plus but not required
Experience:
- 4+ years in investment operations, capital markets, or asset management
- Background in insurance investment accounting (GAAP/STAT) preferred
- Strong understanding of asset classes such as bank loans, structured credit, high yield
- Experience with investment systems such as Black Mountain (Allvue), Clearwater, Everest, Geneva, or IVP a plus
- Familiarity with various fund structures (SMAs, LPs, CLOs, UCITs)
Technical and Professional Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of trade lifecycle and operational risks
- Strong data management and reconciliation skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to synthesize and communicate complex information
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across global time zones
