Our client is a 92-year-old industry leader in the design and manufacture of custom wood and corrugated shipping containers, located in Sparrows Point, Maryland. We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Manufacturing Manager to lead and enhance our production operations. This role is pivotal in supporting the operational excellence strategy by overseeing all manufacturing activities to ensure a safe, efficient, and high-quality environment. The Manufacturing Manager will play a key role in driving continuous improvement initiatives and leading a dedicated team to meet ambitious growth and performance targets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team to meet production goals while maintaining a safe and positive work environment.
  • Implement and uphold strict safety protocols, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Champion sustainability initiatives to reduce environmental impact in manufacturing processes.
  • Establish and maintain rigorous quality control processes to drive zero-defect production.
  • Monitor and improve productivity standards, optimizing labor efficiency through continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support Arnold Packaging’s growth strategy.
  • Foster a culture that embodies Arnold Packaging’s core values.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of five years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of safety, quality control, and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams effectively.
  • Experience implementing productivity improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
