Position Overview:
The Procurement Manager will oversee all procurement activities, focusing on cost-effective purchasing strategies, vendor management, and contract negotiations to support the company’s growth. This position requires a highly analytical and results-driven professional with experience in procurement, sourcing, and supplier relationship management. A key requirement for this role is a “sense of urgency” mindset to ensure the timely delivery of raw materials for each project. Additionally, the Procurement Manager will assist in the sales process by providing accurate and timely quotes for new customers. This role will also involve managing a team to ensure successful outcomes for both ongoing and new customers. The position is located on-site at our headquarters in Carrollton, TX, and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sourcing & Procurement:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and ensure high-quality supply sources that deliver on a timely basis and with no adverse impact on the production schedule. Identify multiple vendor choices for key ingredients.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable terms.
- Monitor supplier performance and manage ongoing vendor relationships.
- Responsible for all compliance documentation for vendors.
Contract & Vendor Management:
- Oversee contract negotiations, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry certification requirements.
- Establish vendor agreements that align with company and customer goals.
Cost Control & Budgeting:
- Develop cost-saving initiatives and drive efficiency in procurement processes.
- Track and manage procurement budgets and forecasts, ensuring adherence to financial goals and successful customer outcomes.
Technology & Process Optimization:
- Leverage procurement software and tools to streamline purchasing activities.
- Continuously seek process improvements and automation opportunities within the procurement function.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and contract management skills.
- Experience in consumer goods is a plus.
- Knowledge of procurement software and best practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work on-site at the Carrollton, TX headquarters.

Compensation: 80,000-100,000
