About the Role
We seek a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support our finance team with Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and general office tasks. This role is ideal for someone who has a talent for financial accuracy, excels in organization, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
Verify new suppliers, collect W-9s, and ensure accurate account setup in SAP
Process invoices, match with purchase orders, and obtain approvals
Reconcile vendor statements and manage payment schedules
Support 1099 reporting and employee expense processing
Accounts Receivable
Generate sales invoices for services, parts, and system sales
Follow up on outstanding payments and reduce bad debt risk
Flag any overdue accounts to the Financial Controller
Office Administration
Sort and distribute mail
Assist with general office tasks as needed
Qualifications
Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) experience
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in SAP or other accounting software
Team player with strong communication skills
