Position Overview:

We seek a technically adept Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team. This entry-level role is perfect for someone with a strong background in electronics and mechanics who is eager to take on responsibilities in installation, preventative maintenance, and corrective maintenance for Xstrahl's cutting-edge therapy and life science systems.


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Deliver prompt and professional engineering support for Xstrahl systems across the United States, with occasional international assignments. 
  • Execute installations, handover, and acceptance testing with precision and efficiency. 
  • Diagnose faults and rectify defects, ensuring optimal performance of our systems. 
  • Complete CFRs and customer tickets following company procedures. 
  • Assist with in-house production tasks as needed. 
  • Maintain meticulous records of all work performed, in accordance with company protocols. 
  • Ensure installations are completed on schedule and within budget, with all necessary documentation signed off and submitted timely. 
  • Strive to maintain maximum uptime of in-service equipment. 
  • Communicate customer feedback effectively and contribute to solutions aligned with the company’s CAPA Process and Zero Defects policy. 
  • Perform cost-effective, on-time maintenance and system breakdowns, adhering to company reporting standards. 

Travel Requirement: 

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally approximately 80% of the time. 

Qualifications: 

  • Certificate or Associate degree in a relevant field; higher education preferred. 
  • Strong IT skills, including experience with proprietary software, Windows OS, and Office applications. 
  • Excellent mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities. 
  • Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal. 
  • Clean driving license. 
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure independently and as part of a team. 
  • Exceptional presentation skills to represent Xstrahl on customer sites. 

Desirable Skills: 

  • Multilingual abilities are an advantage. 
  • Experience in installing and commissioning complex electro-mechanical systems. 
  • Proficiency in electrical and electronic diagnostics. 
  • Mechanical assembly and troubleshooting experience.
