• MUST have an Active AL license
• Shift Length: 24 Hours
• Hospitalists to Provide GYN Coverage: only for emergent cases
• Hospitalists Required to Perform Circumcisions: Not required
• Hospitalists Needed for First Assist: No – usually provided by midwives, residents or group.
• First Assist Available to the Hospitalists: Yes (surgical techs)
•  Hospitalists to Backup Midwives: TBD (CNM’s are in local private practice)
• Hospitalists to Backup Family Practice: No
• Backup Available to the Hospitalists: Yes (OB/GYN ED Call)
• NICU Level: III
• Total Hospital Deliveries (annually.): 3,696
• Estimated Deliveries for Hospitalists (annually): 300
• Estimated Patient Encounters for Hospitalists(not including deliveries) (monthly): 541
