ER Locums Opportunity in Northeastern North Carolina

• 200 bed hospital part of regional health system
• Start as soon as credentialed; 7-12 shifts monthly available ongoing
• Shifts are 7a-4p, 11a-8p,5p-2a and 10p-7a
• 26 bed ED with 6 designated Psychiatry beds
• Average number of patients/day/provider is 12
• Average number of admissions/day is 6 and 8 at night
• 24-hour Hospitalist and Radiology coverage
• 4 bed convenient care staffed by one NP/PA and an RN or Paramedic
• Must have worked ER in the past 12 months
• Required procedures include suturing, assessments, radiology, lab and CT interpretation, foreign body removal, limited ophthalmology, muscular skeletal, and infectious processes
• If not ER Residency trained, must have ACLS, ATLS & PALS
• EMR is Epic
