Regional Medical Director Opening – Midwest (Work Mostly Remote)

  • Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible internal medicine, family medicine or geriatric physician
  • Must have at least 5 years of leadership experience
  • Permanent job opening
  • Work M-F (ideal candidate will be flexible)
  • 1-1.5 days of clinical work, the rest will be administrative from home
  • Clinical days - Job is 100% house calls (minimal telemedicine for follow-ups)
  • You’d see adult and geriatric patients
  • Looking for someone to start as soon as possible
  • Candidate to live close to one of these areas, Chicago, IL, Baton Rouge, LA, Lafayette, LA or New Orleans, LA (must be licensed in one of these states)
  • Client provides three weeks of paid training
  • Credentialing can be done concurrent with training
  • Ideal candidates will be tech savvy – client uses a variety of customizable electronic platforms
  • Oversee 20-25 providers making house calls in Illinois, Louisiana and Washington
  • Car service will be provided for clinical days
  • Travel requirement: initially travel to each region to get familiar with territory (After that there is minimal travel)
  • No visa sponsorship, unfortunately
