Certified Quality Engineer

Remedy is partnering with our manufacturing client to fill their Certified Quality Engineer opening. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity with great benefits.

 

Responsibilities

  • Own the quality system, building upon existing and establishing new quality processes, such as document control for Engineering drawings, BOMs, and SOPs
  • Train new employees on said Quality Management System
  • Manage the Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) process
  • Create, maintain, and report on KPIs
  • Coordinate with management to develop OKRs
  • Meet monthly OPEX targets
  • Analyze, identify, and implement manufacturing and/or business process improvements
  • Perform audits and/or witness Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) at contract manufacturer facilities, review results, and approve product for shipment
  • Perform supplier quality audits in support of new supplier evaluations and non-conformance preventative action verification
  • Maintain and control calibration records for all test and inspection equipment
  • Develop an ISO Compliant Quality Management System and Lead all activities to obtain ISO certification

 

Requirements

  • 7 years’ experience in Quality management
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Quality, or similar field
  • Certified Quality Engineer
  • Working knowledge of statistical packages, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Experience in a manufacturing/engineered product environment
  • Strong familiarity with ISO concepts
  • Proven experience with obtaining and maintaining UL/CSA and CE certification on industrial equipment
