Packaging Team Leader- Direct Hire

Summary:

The packaging team leader is responsible for training and coordinating employees 4/8 packaging cells. Through a balanced approach of safety, quality, delivery and cost, this role executes plans, distributes work assignments, utilizes personal experience to assist operators with packaging equipment operation, operates equipment to support deliveries and backfills employee time-off. The packaging team lead would also have to backfill the other cell groups lead position when out. The packaging team leader encourages team effort and supportive attitudes between workers.

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 5 – 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 1 – 2 years of employee training experience
  • Experience with ISO standards, ISO 13485 preferred
  • Lean and continuous improvement experience a plus
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to solve practical problems through analytical and decision-making skills
  • High sense of urgency focused on task accomplishment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)
  • Must be able to lift 50+ LBS
