Customer & Sales Service Support Representative

Overview:

The Customer and Sales Service Support Rep; will provide support to internal and external customers to include sales quoting, sales orders and customer support activities for the company, supporting the outside sales department.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating and participating in direct inside sales activities of the Company
  • Create sales order, purchase order, quote, pick sheets, and RMA’s
  • Work with the warehouse personnel regarding inventory discrepancies, inaccurate shipments, accurate ship dates and timely deliveries
  • Knowledge of MAS systems including reports, customer inquiries, inventory, invoicing and sales order history
  • Managing incoming phone calls regarding questions, complaints and general technical requests
  • Provide product and technical information within measured time frames
  • Educate customers regarding terminology, product features and benefits
  • Support outside sales force and work toward continued business development and analysis activities
  • Work closely with outside sales to facilitate customer requirements
  • Identify customer needs and purchasing patterns
  • Be cognizant of opportunity to recommend products based on uncovered needs and added value to the customer experience

 

Education and Experience:

  • Associates degree in business or related field. Or equivalent education and work experience.
  • 2 years customer service and/or sales support experience in a technical environment

 

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency w. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • 2 plus years experience w. CRM systems and ERP/MRP systems
  • Working functionality ordering product online
