Under the direction of the Director of Sales, The Business Development Manager is responsible for training and guiding our rep agents on HV products. The Business Development manager will work together with Inside sales to assist the customer in specifying and ordering HV cable accessories. In addition the Business Development manager has following duties and responsibilities.
·Responsible for sales and support of HV products in NAM including but not limited to HV Connex, HV & EHV cable accessories, etc.
·Tracking and reporting on opportunities for projects in the US and Canada
·Act as the NAM technical support for customers directly as well as inside and outside sales regarding HV products
·Manage rep agents for product sales together with the Director of Sales
·Train, observe, and grade the rep agents performance
·Present HV cable accessories to customers at their location as well as trade shows and engineering conferences
Education, Experience & Qualifications:
·Must have a minimum 5 years of experience with HV cable construction and accessories installation, manufacturing and engineering
·Prior experience with products is preferred
·Thorough knowledge of the industry and product line
·Prior experience selling HV cable accessories and a full understanding of HV NAM market is necessary
·Presentation skills, and customer service are keys
·Most work is performed at customer location throughout the US and Canada
·Work from home when not traveling
