CNC Lathe Machinist/Set-up - Direct Hire

Remedy Professional Services is currently seeking a skilled CNC Lathe setup/operator to join our client's CNC Machining Department.


This machinist will work on second shift, which is Monday-Thursday from 4:30pm to 2:45am.


The individual will be involved in the complex setup and limited run of highly engineered components. This position will require complex setup and troubleshooting ability. Master CAM or Part Maker experience preferred.



  • Assist the plant manager to accomplish plant wide goals by managing employees, selecting jobs, selection and placement of personnel for daily job assignments
  • Assist department personnel with any technical guidance necessary
  • Assist in the set-up and operation of a variety of CNC lathes including: Doosan Puma, Hardinge Quests, TMU (Tsugami), CNC Milacron Avenger, Hardinge GTs technologies including dual spindle/dual turret style machines
  • Inspect as needed completed material utilizing hand inspection equipment, i.e. Vernier calipers, micrometer and drop dial indicators as well as Profilometer and CMM machines



  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5 years minimum of CNC/Lathe machining experience with Mazak or Nakamura twin spindle / twin turret or Mill turns or similar equipment
  • 3 years of CNC/Lathe set-up experience
  • Experience working in an ISO 9001 facility and experience with AS 9100 preferred


This position will pay $20-27/hr with overtime available, as well as quarterly profit sharing.
