Maintenance/Reliability Manager - Direct Hire

Remedy’s Professional Division is currently recruiting for a full-time, direct-hire Reliability Manager position on the day shift at a manufacturer in Geneva, NY.

This position will be focused on advancing a maintenance culture away from "reactive" to "proactive" in driving machine and equipment reliability.



  • Providing oversight to the Maintenance function:
    • Directly supervise the Maintenance Administration Group
    • Execute planned maintenance, preventive maintenance, spare part supply, and contractor services.
    • Provide direction to Shift Maintenance Supervisors
    • Develop and execute the Maintenance Strategy, including determination of maintenance approach, staffing levels, training program, metrics, and others.
  • Floor-level presence in working with operators to get them more involved with the reliability and integrity of their machinery
  • Prepare cost estimates and timelines for projects.
  • Determine design requirements, prepare specifications and drawings, procure necessary materials and services, and coordinate installation and maintenance systems for capital projects.
  • Establish priorities and allocate resources.



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
  • 7 – 10 years of Reliability experience in a fast paced, high pressure, 24/7/365 manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with Preventive Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, Spare Part Management, and Maintenance Planning and Scheduling.
  • Demonstrated success in measuring and improving processes to meet organization goals.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading continuous improvement efforts.
  • Willingness and ability to support a 24/7/365 manufacturing environment.
