Administrative Assistant - Office Administrator
Location: Brewerton, NY
Job Type: Contract (3–6 Months) – Immediate Hire

Pay Rate: $20-25/hr.
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly organized and professional Office Administrator to support daily operations for a growing construction contractor. This is an immediate need with the opportunity to transition into a permanent position based on performance and business needs.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively with both field and office teams, and enjoys keeping operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Greet clients, vendors, and visitors in a professional manner
- Schedule meetings and coordinate travel arrangements
- Assist with employee onboarding and new hire documentation
- Order and manage office supplies
- Provide general administrative support to leadership and staff
- Support internal communication between office and field personnel
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with fleet management coordination
- Previous experience reviewing contracts or supporting contract documentation
- Prior experience in the construction industry
- Familiarity with construction terminology and project documentation
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of administrative or office support experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Willingness to learn new systems and take on new responsibilities
- Professional demeanor and positive attitude
