Job Title: Sr. Structural Engineer/Department Lead

Position Overview
This role offers the opportunity to lead complex structural engineering projects and play a crucial role in the success and growth of our client’s firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of structural design, analysis, and project management, ensuring the highest standards of quality and performance. Furthermore, the selected candidate will likely assume leadership of the Building Engineering team in the future
- Lead the design and analysis of various structural engineering projects, including commercial, institutional, higher education, healthcare, and more
- Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout all project phases.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Foster strong client relationships through effective communication and collaboration.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on technical and professional development.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
Required Skills & Abilities
A professional Engineer (PE) License is required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in structural engineering design and analysis.
- Previous technical project management experience.
- Proficiency with structural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Compensation & Benefits
- $65-70/hr. Overtime Eligible at the straight time rate
