Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000

We’re currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team and play a critical role in servicing and retaining our valued business clients.
Position Overview:
The Commercial Lines Account Manager will be responsible for providing day-to-day service and support to our commercial clients. This includes quoting new and renewal policies, managing contract requirement quotes, and handling general service-related tasks such as processing claims, issuing certificates of insurance (COIs), and responding to client inquiries. This is a full-time, in-office position, Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day servicing of commercial lines accounts, including policy changes, certificates of insurance, endorsements, and billing inquiries
- Handle contract-specific insurance requirements and generate corresponding quotes.
- Provide exceptional client service by assisting with coverage questions, billing issues, policy changes, and documentation requests.
- Issue certificates of insurance, process endorsements, and handle general servicing tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
- Serve as a liaison between clients and carriers to ensure proper handling of claims.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation in the agency management system.
- Work collaboratively with producers and other team members to support client retention and satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial lines insurance.
- Active New York State Property & Casualty Insurance License required.
- Strong knowledge of commercial lines coverages and carrier guidelines.
- Proficient with agency management systems and quoting platforms.
- Excellent organizational & customer service skills – Prior Management experience a plus
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small, close-knit team.
- Customer-first mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving
