Transportation Group Manager
This role involves overseeing the Transportation Group's projects, staff management and development, and business development to secure new Transportation Projects. Responsibilities include maintaining client relationships, marketing services, managing project budgets and schedules, and mentoring staff. Supervisory duties entail setting performance standards, coordinating team tasks, providing feedback, and fostering professional growth.
Requirements:
B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
10 years minimum of transportation engineering/construction experience
Strong project management experience
Professional Engineering License (PE) or ability to obtain it
Prior staff management experience is preferred.
Client relationship and business development experience required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Comprehensive understanding of transportation project development and respective DOT regulations
Commitment to excellence and continuous improvement
Effective collaboration and respectful communication
Accountability and transparency in work
Proactive and self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills
Sound judgment and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Adaptability to changing project demands
