As the Program Manager/Engineer, you will ensure product performance meets customer requirements. You will rive performance across technical domain (development, test, field) to meet project deadlines. You will coordinate and manage the engineering project strategy based on contractual requirements and optimum margin. Set priorities when resourcing conflicts arise. You will proactively manage the project technical risks, defining the mitigation plan and Validate the Technical project solution across stakeholders. You will manage scope and timeline with engineering team to prevent margin erosion. You will manage internal and external stakeholder relationships and manage the multisite project design. You will manage programs to deliver on time, within budget, meet revenue/margin targets, and meet contractual obligations. You will develop cost, revenue, and payment plans to achieve business objectives. You will adhere to customer and industry standards/specifications, while keeping within quality standards. You will manage multisystem engineering tasks with a focus on delivering a totally integrated system within a matrixed organization utilizing various internal and external resources. You will lead efforts to identify risks, develop plans and apply countermeasures to improve our position. You will communicate issues and opportunities – Including plans to resolve. You will manage contract, project scope, risk, and Change Orders (CO). You will respond to CO by overseeing the entire bid effort – resource requirements, schedule, risk, cost, price, and negotiation. You will represent the company as a senior customer program interface. You will optimize customer relationships through the program life cycle. You will be responsible for the development of high-quality written reports /presentations for management and customer reviews. You will Lead resource, management, and customer reviews – project status, risk management, schedule, budget, performance to plan, etc. You will lead by example by personally embracing and integrating continuous process improvement. You will also support the development and identification of program management resources.

If This Describes You, Apply Today! 

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline
  
• More than 8 years of Program Management experience
  
• Advanced MS Office Suite and MS Project skills
  
• Demonstrated financial management skills including development and control of program budgets, schedules, risk management, EAC's and the ability to recognize and capture program changes
  

Great Additional Skills:

• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  
• Proven analytical, technical, strategic, and problem-solving skills
  
• Experience identifying project problems and recommending solutions
  
• Experience in the Rail Industry and or FRA knowledge
  
• Experience with Agile Project Management is a plus
  
• Ability to work independently and multitask
  
• Experience with creating and monitoring staffing metrics
  
• PMP certification
  
• Experience in program stand up
  
• Experience working within an Integrated Product Team (IPT)
