As the Salesforce Administrator you will manage configuration and monitor operation of third party connected applications and ensure optimal performance of systems and products. You will monitor and improve user adoption. You will also execute data imports, conversions, and migrations as needed. Additionally, you will:

  • Participate in sprint grooming, demos, and retrospection meetings with business stakeholders
  • Perform unit and peer testing, and fix defects reported by the QA and UAT teams
  • Develop a strong trusted advisor relationship with key client stakeholders
  • Stay up to date on new Salesforce features to provide recommendations for process improvements and future integrations
  • Formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems
  • Prepare detailed design specifications from which programs will be written
  • Be responsible for configuration management, including but not limited to, version control, software builds, baseline management, change management, and release management and/or coordinating, scheduling, and communicating environment activities and deployments
  • Design, code, test, and debug documents and maintain application programs
  • Consult with users or other IT professions to resolve issues with programs
  • Contribute to the development of project plans and timelines
  • Provide estimates for planned work
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need to be Successful:

  • At least 1 year of experience as a business analyst, software developer, and/or configuration specialist
  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS OR Bachelor’s degree in computer science OR Bachelor’s degree in information technology
  • Salesforce certified administrator
  • Experience in the administration and maintenance of Salesforce systems (Sales Cloud in particular)
  • Experience in system configuration, security administration, mobile administration, user provisioning, end-user support/troubleshooting, data management, customization, and workflow automation
  • Proficiency in creating custom objects, custom fields, page layouts, workflow rules, validation rules, reports, dashboards, process builder, and flows
  • Prior experience in delivering projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and work in a role that requires an engineering mindset and eagerness to learn new technical skills
