As the Azure DevOps Engineer III, you will bring a broad blend of technical skillsets to build solutions that deliver with speed and scale. You will build and manage infrastructure, deployment pipeline, CI/CD tools, architecture, and security. You will also forge the use of new technologies in unique and creative ways to help shape our client's cloud infrastructure, processes, pipelines, and workflows. Additionally, you will: 

  • Design and build components encompassing network, security, identity, governance, development, and operations in Azure's Cloud
  • Work on multiple projects as an internal consultant
  • Operationalize solutions from proof-of-concept through production using automation for repeatability, maintainability, and to enforce standards
  • Advise teams on architecting, designing, and deploying scalable, fault-tolerant, enterprise cloud solutions to public cloud platforms
  • Design for security and compliance
  • Use emerging tools and methodologies to automate existing processes and design new cloud-based infrastructures based on infrastructure as code mindset; script and deploy infrastructure components
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand the IT business requirements, drive the analysis, and design the technical solutions in compliance with architectural blueprints and business strategies

What You’ll Need to be Successful:

  • At least 5 years of experience in software design/development, infrastructure/systems management, or enterprise architecture
  • At least 3 years of experience building cloud architecture with Azure
  • Experience writing software in one or more languages - Java, .NET, or C# preferred
  • Experience and knowledge of microservices architecture and Agile development
  • Extensive experience with deployment of applications in public cloud on Microsoft Azure
  • Experience in open-source and Agile methodologies based on modern software engineering practices
  • Experience with deployment, automation, and management tools such as Jenkins, Puppet, Ansible, Chef, Docker, Terraform, and K8s
  • Understanding of network elements such as firewalls, load balancers, DNS, NAT, and TLS/SSL
  • Track record of success delivering enterprise scale solutions
  • Results-oriented and a can-do attitude
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for keeping up to date with the latest IT trends and technologies

Great Additional Skills:

  • Azure certification
  • Background in Big Data environment
  • Machine learning/AI experience
  • Industrial domain experience
