As the Principal Solution Architect, you will work with customers, stakeholders, and partners to conceive, design, and implement industrial solutions at scale using Digital technologies. You will analyze, model, and develop complex and high-level architecture plans that require the integration of multiple technologies and coordination of functional areas across the organization. You will also partner with senior business and technology leaders to map business strategy to technical architecture. Additionally, you will:

  • Work closely with engineering to ensure that requirements from the ecosystem are thoroughly understood and reflected in future product releases
  • Provide thought-leadership and architectural guidance/reviews on strategic Digital implementations
  • Provide technical guidance to lead, design, architect, and deliver on top of Microsoft Azure
  • Represent Digital in complex deals by providing functional and technical consultation
  • Assist the core Digital engineering team to develop the right scenarios and features to address customers and stakeholders
  • Build POCs and solutions to analyze ambiguous technical and customer situations to determine appropriate solutions as necessary
  • Work closely cross-discipline with stakeholders to drive decision making and outcomes designed for growth
  • Advise the Scrum team(s) to design and implement methods that meet customer/end-user expectations and achieve portfolio initiative goals
  • Lead the end-to-end solution design and architecture for key company initiatives
  • Present architecture and innovative ideas to executive leadership for the purposes of alignment and key decision-making

What You’ll Need to be Successful:

  • At least 5 years of solution development, application engineering, customer engagement, or related software experience
  • BS degree or equivalent practical experience; MS degree preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Industrial solutions and Agile principles and processes
  • Strong solutions background for Industrial customers
  • Strong leadership, change management, and communication skills
  • Experience with data insight tools, integrated PPM tools/suites, and Agile management tools (Tableau, Power BI, Primavera, smartsheet, TFS, Rally, JIRA)
  • Ability to create consensus on efficient solution strategy with agility and leadership skills that are recognized and respected by peers
  • Ability to understand diverse industrial customers and develop architectures that meet the current and anticipated business needs across the Digital ecosystem
