As the Software Engineer, you will produce high-quality, innovative, secure, and performant software in compliance with coding standards and technical design. You will participate in team activities and be empowered to produce amazing solutions to complex problems. You will also join a global team of engineers and a company vested in your growth and opportunity. Additionally, you will:

  • Design, develop, modify, implement, and support software components
  • Work closely with Developers, Product Managers, and Quality Engineers to produce features and enhancements to the software product
  • Develop high-quality software solutions that are secure, scalable, and performant
  • Meet with stakeholders to define project scope
  • Oversee projects completely, from inception to delivery
  • Groom user stories and refine acceptance criteria
  • Perform necessary R&D
  • Break work down into consumable pieces that can be completed within a standard sprint
  • Communicate blockers and changes to effort early and often
  • Meet delivery commitments to the best of your ability
  • Produce code that follows our standards and guidelines
  • Assist in preliminary support of projects during the early stages of the release cycle
  • Act as a senior resource and mentor junior members of the team
  • Work daily within our project and task management system - Jira
  • Remain current on technologies

What You’ll Need to be Successful:

  • At least 5 years of experience working with .Net
  • Bachelor’s degree in a computer science related field
  • Strong understanding of security, operating systems, and networking
  • Experience with legacy monolithic systems
  • Experience with VB.NET, C#, MySQL, REST APIs, and UI development using WinForms and WPF
  • Experience with React and JavaScript
  • Experience with unit testing and automated testing
  • Strong computer and networking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and willingness to develop professionally
  • Strong team player with the ability to build positive and collaborative relationships within the organization
  • Ability to work on multiple priorities and/or projects simultaneously with sufficient efficiency and quality
  • Ability to lead and manage the progress of your work to meet commitments
  • Ability to work under general supervision
  • Ability to manage multiple, dissimilar deliverables and train others on deliverables
  • Ability to easily adjust to changes and to pivot quickly and easily
