As the Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will play a key role on the Product Development Team working to architect, build, and deploy mobile and cloud solutions. You will implement design layouts for various mobile platforms and browsers. You will also develop clean, semantic markup with current best practices. Additionally, you will:

  • Use API and service design fundamentals and best practices
  • Ensure projects are completed and properly documented according to specifications and timelines
  • Collaborate well in a cross-functional team of product managers, designers, and engineers
  • Focus on quality and exceeding expected customer expectation levels
  • Collaboratively support, troubleshoot, and fix defects and operational issues
  • Work with onsite, remote delivery and operations teams
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and motivation to others to achieve shared aspirations

What You’ll Need to be Successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in at least 2 of the following: Node.js, JavaScript (ES6), TypeScript, Kotlin (or Java), Python, Swift, and/or Go
  • Understanding of GraphQL and/or REST APIs
  • Working experience with cloud platforms
  • Experience using CI/CD platforms
  • Ability to estimate accurately and deliver high quality software
  • Ability to effectively communicate across organizational functions
  • Ability to effectively plan, organize, and measure progress toward goals and objectives
  • Passion for developing for mobile, web, and the cloud
  • Initiative to proactively research best practices in development, keep up with online trends, and strive to find new/inventive techniques
  • Intellectual curiosity and constant desire to learn
  • Quick learner with the ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Ability to simultaneously support multiple projects of varying complexity
  • Self-motivated and dependable
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills

Great Additional Skills:

  • Experience with AI/ML development
  • Experience with AWS Lambda development
  • Experience working with DynamoDB or another document database
  • Understanding of and experience with Message-Oriented Middleware (MOM)
  • Understanding of security best practices
  • Experience at a fast growth company or in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Experience integrating into government systems
  • Background in criminal justice, military, emergency services, and/or other government related industries
